Pontet Canet will always be a special wine for me – when the 1996 was a baby it was the first wine that really excited me, and is probably to blame for all this wine shop lark that I seem to be doing as a career. Since then, the cachet of the chateau (also a fifth growth from Pauillac) has been rising extraordinarily and it is one of the most in-demand wines in the world. We are very excited that Melanie will be taking us through the following:
